What we collect

When you request access, we collect your email address. After you verify it, we save your email, verification time and your optional updates preference. If you choose wedding updates, we also record the signup source, date of your choice, confirmation date, consent wording and version, subscription status, unsubscribe information and welcome-email status. Worksheet access does not require an order number, receipt, marketing subscription or approval. Legacy purchase requests submitted before this system changed may retain their retailer, order reference, purchase date and review status.

For digital purchases, we receive payment confirmation, purchase identifiers, email, amount and refund status from Stripe. We also receive information you choose to send when asking for help. Our hosting and security services may record IP addresses, browser information and requests to keep the site running and prevent abuse.

Gift access and printed-book giveaways

Gift claims record your verified email, campaign and claim time to grant digital access and enforce claim limits. For the optional printed-book giveaway, we collect your email, eligibility/rules confirmation version and verification time. Only selected winners are asked privately by email for their name and US mailing address. We use entry records to administer the drawings and contact selected winners. Winner-provided mailing details are used to ship prizes. Administrators can export these records privately. Entry does not subscribe you to marketing, and addresses are not published or sold. Nonwinner names and mailing addresses are cleared within 90 days after the final drawing. Winner fulfillment records may be retained for administration and applicable recordkeeping. Contact us to request access or deletion of your records; deleting an entry before a drawing removes it from eligibility. Gift access and giveaway entry are separate.

Your Command Center workbook

The Command Center is a downloadable workbook, not an online account for storing wedding records. Guest details, vendor information, gifts and payment entries remain in your own file. This website does not receive those entries through normal workbook use. If you upload your copy to Google Sheets or another service, that provider handles your file under its policies and sharing settings. Choose carefully who can view or edit it.

Why we use it

We use this information to process purchases, verify email access, deliver sign-in links, provide downloads, answer support requests, prevent fraud and keep required business records. Requesting a sign-in link or buying the guide does not automatically subscribe you to marketing. We may export verified-email records for access administration and maintain a separate list of confirmed marketing subscribers.

Optional wedding tips, updates and offers

The homepage mailing-list checkbox and optional updates checkbox on the access form are selected by default. The homepage mailing-list form requires that choice to join; declining it leaves you unsubscribed. You can uncheck updates before submitting to decline ongoing marketing. Leaving updates selected and confirming your email subscribes you to occasional wedding tips, fresh worksheets and files, book updates, newsletters, new products and related service offers. These messages are managed by EAF Publishing / Epoch Company and may feature Wedding Day Field Guide, Epoch Moment wedding photography and videography, Engaged AF, EAF Venue Magazines, and future wedding resources such as Crewcopia. We send a welcome email after you confirm this choice. You can decline marketing and still use your purchases and worksheet downloads.

We administer this as one wedding-resources list. Your signup does not create accounts or separate newsletter subscriptions at every related brand. Authorized Epoch Company team members and email-service providers may use subscriber records to manage this list and deliver the messages you chose. We do not provide the list to independent venues, advertisers or vendors for their own marketing. Older access-only records and earlier, narrower newsletter preferences are not automatically enrolled in this broader list.

Marketing emails include an unsubscribe link. It stops tips, updates and offers from this list without removing purchases or worksheet access. You can also email adam@epochmoment.com to change your preference. Necessary access, purchase and support messages are handled separately. A one-time launch notification has its own subscription and unsubscribe link; opting out of that list does not automatically change an optional wedding-updates subscription, or vice versa.

For historical launch-waitlist requests, we stored your email address, signup and confirmation times, launch-mail status and any separate wedding-updates choice. That earlier form requested a confirmation and one launch notification with purchase links. The current homepage form instead joins the ongoing mailing list after email confirmation; new mailing-list signups are not sent a launch announcement. Joining the launch list alone does not grant worksheet or book access or subscribe you to ongoing updates. Use the unsubscribe link in the launch email or contact us to remove your waitlist record. Unconfirmed requests expire and are removed after seven days.

Payments, email and other services

Stripe handles digital checkout and payment-card information. The Field Guide website does not store your full card number. See Stripe’s Privacy Policy. Amazon handles printed-book orders under its own policies. Flipsnack hosts the digital reader and operates under its own privacy practices. The reader is opened as an external link rather than embedded in this access page. Hosting and email providers process information needed to operate the site and deliver messages. We may disclose information when legally required or necessary to protect rights and security.

Cookies, related brands and Facebook

Buyer access uses an essential sign-in cookie that normally expires after seven days or when you sign out. Blocking that cookie can prevent downloads from working. Our book access features do not include advertising pixels. Links to related brands, Amazon, Stripe, Flipsnack and Facebook take you to services with their own privacy practices. Clicking a resource link does not automatically subscribe you or send your worksheet entries to that service.

You can message Adam through the Wedding Day Field Guide Facebook page to ask questions, discuss worksheets or suggest future updates. Facebook handles those interactions under its own policies, and messages we receive may be retained for support. This is a link, not an embedded tracking widget. Avoid sending sensitive financial details or other people’s private information.

Your worksheet contents

The downloadable worksheets are files you complete on paper or your own device. This download system does not collect what you write in them. If you send a completed page to us for support, it becomes part of that support conversation. Think before sharing guest details or other people’s personal information.

How long we keep it

We retain purchase and access records for as long as needed to provide downloads, resolve support issues and meet recordkeeping obligations. Subscriber records are retained while you subscribe; after an opt-out, we retain limited subscription and suppression records so we can respect your choice and document consent. You can request deletion, subject to records needed to honor an opt-out or meet legal obligations. Expired access links and sessions are removed during routine cleanup. Support messages and service-provider records may follow separate retention periods. We use safeguards to protect information, but no online service can guarantee perfect security.

Your choices and requests

We do not sell buyer information or use it for targeted advertising. You can ask to access, correct or delete information we hold by emailing adam@epochmoment.com. We may verify your identity before acting. Some records may need to be retained for legal or transaction reasons; deleting access information can end your ability to sign in. If a request is denied, you can contact us again to ask for a review and explanation.

Children and policy changes

The site is intended for adults planning a wedding. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information. We will update this page when our practices change and provide additional notice where required.
